✦ If anyone tries to tease her for this or that, she does The Big Eye Thing, goes silent, and stays completely still, staring at them. Everyone hates it.

✦ While the Incineroar in the family aren't as scary as they look, this Meowstic is not to be underestimated. Sayaka is loving, but no-nonsense mother and grandmother who isn't afraid to lay down the law. She's more relaxed these days, leaving the parenting to Katsu and Kazu and only intervening on things she feels passionate about, though she'll never hold her opinion back.
✦ She, and her husband, don't really respect Takara's gender identity and is the first to call it nothing but a phase. She doesn't refer to them with anything but masculine titles and pronouns.

✦ It's easy to see where Katsuo got his can do attitude - age has not slowed down Daichi a bit. A big man that takes a lot of pride in his physical strength, his sheer willpower and, most of all, his family.
✦ He frequently laments becoming "so short" in his old age.
✦ Whenever Kazuko gets hushed up at Yuuka's games or Takara's relays, he tags himself in to pick up the cheering.
✦ He's doing his best with Takara's gender, but he's stuck in old ways and tends to lean towards masculine pronouns and titles more often than not. But he always goes back to correct himself if it's pointed out.
